Our eZonoTM 3000 is a revolutionary portable ultrasound system designed for the needs of anaesthetists. It accelerates the learning curve with our patented Cue Cards, a multi-media learning and workflow tool for vascular access and regional anaesthesia - combined with excellent image quality. Furthermore the touchscreen of the system and the icon-based user interface significantly reduce complexity. Given its light-weight form-factor, fast boot time of under 20 sec and 2h battery life, the eZono™ 3000 is ideally suited for intensive care and anaesthesia. Excellent image quality: Leveraging the leading edge The eZono™ 3000 portable ultrasound system offers excellent B-mode and color Doppler imaging in a compact form factor. State of the Art components enable up to 14 Mhz probes. The system is driven almost exclusively by software and incorporates the latest processing power available, which is distributed at multiple levels for optimal performance today and throughout its life time. A proprietary operating system gives stability and a boot time of under 20 seconds after pressing the on/off switch, eZono™ 3000's only button.
Simply touch: Only one button In a time pressured environment you don't want to learn lots of buttons by heart but use tools on the fly. The eZono™ 3000 is the first portable ultrasound system with a complete and intuitive touch screen based user interface. Press the icon on the screen instead of searching for the button to get the job done. Our 26.4cm (10.4") touch screen features 16 million colors which not only achieve true 256 grey scale imaging but also add vibrant color to the user interface. Importantly, the touch screen can be easily disinfected or used with sterile pointers (e.g. a sterile needle cover) and there is no risk that a keyboard gets contaminated or destroyed with liquids.
User interface: Workflow guidance not trial and error Similar to your mobile phone or PC, the eZono™ 3000 is operated with self-explanatory icons and graphical menus. The interface is designed to provide you with only what you want when you need it by following the most efficient work flow. This works at different levels: switch the system on and start scanning immediately; for a particular procedure one touch gives procedure specific pre-sets; full control flexibility is available but only when you want it and can be saved in favourites too.
The most advanced feature with regards to workflow comes with eZono™ 3000's patented Cue Cards. You select the procedure and the system not only loads the best pre-sets but also, if required, guides you through the complete procedure. 3D anatomical animations, reference cross sectional pictures, reference ultrasound images and videos assist you to learn faster. Cue Cards accelerate the learning curve, which is one of the largest obstacles for ultrasound-guided anaesthesia procedures. You can also use Cue Cards for patient education.
Multi-media Database: Store and transfer your patients' data in a 21st century way With an internal storage capacity of 8 GB, the system's multi-media patient database can store up to 30000 images or 31 minutes of video. The database is very easy to access thanks to the touch screen. Data is entered fast by a virtual keyboard. Gone are the days of thermal printers, just transfer the data on a USB Stick and have it readily available on any computer platform you have deployed.
One of the advantages of eZono™ 3000's system architecture is the ability to upgrade the software just by inserting a USB stick. Thus new features can be uploaded and the system continually improves. This enables you to enhance your eZono™ 3000 not only with improved image quality and new functions but also expands the range of applications (i.e. Cue Cards) in the future.
The tough environment in anaesthesia and intensive care demands a robust, portable system. The eZono™ 3000 includes some unique features in this regard. With a weight of just 4 kg, its 32.4cm x 28.2 cm x 9.3 cm dimensions and its unique handle the eZono 3000 is ultra-portable. More importantly it was designed with attention to detail: the ergonomic handle ensures secure, comfortable transport throughout the hospital; the black screen border enhances image contrast; the probe connector does not stick out but is embedded in the casing to reduce connector damage ; the cable stress release feature lowers the risk of cable damage; the probe locking system allows you to change a probe in seconds. The system also features a standard VESA interface, which allows you to place it on our wall-mounted or desk-mounted arms, carts and other VESA equipment.
Powered up, ready to go: 2.5h battery time Thanks to its low power architecture the eZono™ 3000's Li-On rechargeable battery can scan for up to 2.5h without recharging. The rechargeable Li-On battery can be changed in less than one minute. So portability can be extended even further with a second battery. Also the eZono™ 3000's batteries have a readout indicating the filling stage.
